nature of her writing and directing process, each stage of the development of the play is unique, and the peice can stand alone even in a work-in-progress stage, as it will be when presented.
“Unfinished Business” will be codirected by Cathy and Valerie Bayne, both of whom will appear in the play along with Laurie Marshall, Jeanne Drevas and Jeremy Marshall Slack.
“Crows” will be directed by Brian Ross, a resident of Warrenton and a member of the Fauquier Community Theatre. The cast is comprised of Stuart Eiland, Robin Rizutti and Linda Heimstra, all of Rappahannock.
Elizabeth Palmer will have an opportunity to see her Rappahannock rewrite of “Crows,” as she is directing “Beacheads.”
Her actors are Toni Camevale and Tom Simpson, both of Alexandria, the latter of whom appeared as one of the horses in the Source Theatre’s production of Equus performed at the Gay Street Theater in 1982.
The Rappahannock Players have affirmed a commitment to the production of original work once before, the successful production of Woodville resident Carla Eugster’s full-length play, Next Year Jerusalem.
To take on three original works, in conjunction with the Players’ first-time effort at producing an evening of one act plays, is a bold and very positive step for this or any community theatre. Hopefully its success will insure that Rappahannock, as well as other communities, will continue efforts to encourage new playwrights, new directors, new actors and new theatergoers.

Robinson Aide To Visit
Rep. J. Kenneth Robinson will be sending assistant, William W. Pifer to the Rappahannock Courthouse August 15, from 19-11:30 a.m.
Pifer will talk with constituents who have problems of a federal nature with which they need assistance or wish to relay opinions.
