Mr. and Mrs. Donald Fridenstine drove to Elyria, Ohio, for three days to the yearly, family reunion of Don's family. There were about 50 family members there - some from as far away as Minnesota and Utah. It was held in a park with a shelter, and the Fridenstines had a marvelous time.

Frank and Doris Donald had a successful yard sale last Saturday - even managed to get everything covered when the rainstorm slashed through Castleton. Plenty of neighbors came by, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Neal visited, as well as Charlie and May Priest of Amiss ville.
The Donalds visited their daughter and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Stephen McCauley in Colesville, Md., this week for two days and were happy to take their granddaughter, Cathy, who turned 18 on Aug. 3rd, over to Montgomery Jr. College to register for her fall classes. The young-at-heart Donalds always love participating in their grandchildren’s activities. “A happy family is but an earlier heaven.”— John Bowring.
