Work sessions on the proposed ordinance, conducted after the Planning Commission’s regular meetings, seldom have been attended, the chairman says. “I do want the public to have input and know what is being proposed,” he maintains.
Chairman Stokes also says copies of the proposed zoning ordinance have been available for public inspection.
“I would encourage any property owner and any young person who feels they’d like to stay here to come to the meeting,” Frazier, who will bring two concerns before the commissioners during the public hearing, says. “If people don’t show up, they have no right to complain.”
