Summer camp “Summer fun day camp 1987, sponsored by the Fauquier County Parks and Recreation Department, is in full swing!” The Parks and Recreation staff said. Space is still available for children completing grades K-6 this year, for the remaining three sessions. The camp runs Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in six of the county’s elementary schools. The cost is $15 for one child per week for county residents and $18 for non-residents. A discount is available for families with more than one child. The camp activities are centered around weekly themes. July 13-17 is “Beach Breezes Week,” July 20-24 is “Wild Encounters Week,” and July 27-31 is “Grab bag of Games Week.” Register for camp during the grace period to avoid the late fee. Call the Department Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at (703) 349-1910 for more information. * w w w w *
