Nearly 60 members of the Old Hollow community, both past and present, gathered at the Thornton’s Gap Regular Baptist Church for the 20th annual reunion on Sunday, June 28.
From as far away as Pittsburgh, Pa. Louise Johnson journeyed to share the fellowship of the day.
Others who came, contributing a covered dish to the traditional lunch enjoyed by aU who; attend, were: Rhoda Harrell Right, of Glenwood, Md.; and from Springfield; Harvey and Grace Dwyer Gayner, Bill Gayner, Brenda Gayner and Evelyn Balder. i
Arlington was represented by Anna Dwyer Young, Kate Johnson Partlow, Rosemarie Partlow Dunn and her children Briyn and Dianna.
Mattie Houghtop Partlow came from Front Royal. :
A number of ex-residents journeyed over the mountain from Luray, including Grace Cornell Woodard, Barbara, (Dutch and Katherine Cornell Waters, Frances Waters, Alicia Waters and Alice Waters, and Lyda Waters Seekford.
