Mr. and Mrs. Larry Welch were hosts at a cookout Saturday at their home. Their guests were Mr. and Mrs. Reid Nicholson, Mrs. Thelma Jeffries, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Shipe, Brad Alther, Mrs. Linda Corder, Karen Corder, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Pullen and Shannon, Mr. and Mrs. Bryant Welch and Katie and Mr. and Mrs. John Wimmer, all of Front Royal, Mr. and Mrs. Jamey Settle of Manassas, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Welch, Amber and Nathan and Mrs. Ethel Pullen.

Keith Kinsey of Front Royal has been spending a few days with his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Frank Huff.

Mrs. Ruth Jenkins and Mrs. Thelma Coppedge of Etlan and Mrs. Helen Coffey visited Mrs. Robert Nethers on Saturday.

On Friday Mrs. Nethers, Mrs. Pauline Aylor and Mrs. Coffey motored to Winchester. Heather Aylor spent the afternoon with her cousin Karen Corder at the home of Mrs. Dorothy Lewis at Huntly.

Mr. and Mrs. William Smoot and Lisa of Culpeper visited Mr. and Mrs. A. 0. Smoot and Gary Tuesday.

Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Brady were Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. Moffett Brady and Mrs. Irene Hamilton.

Daniel Coffey of Sperryville was an overnight guest Sunday of his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Burrell Woodward.

Mrs. Ethel Pullen and Mrs. Elmer Atkins spent four days touring the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Mrs. Charlie Lillard spent a couple of days last week with Mr. and Mrs. Ned Pierpoint and family in Alexandria. She was accompanied to the Pierpoint home by Sharen Haney and Lisa Pierpoint. After a family get-together Friday Mrs. Lillard was accompanied home by Mrs. Joan Patton.

Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Lillard on Sunday was their grandson Kevin Wade of Chantilly, who has just completed a tour of duty in Korea.

Clyde Lillard and Mrs. Robert Nethers attended the Jones family reunion at Madison on Sunday.

Mrs. Nethers is spending a few days this week with Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Nethers and their houseguest Mrs. Mary Guessford in Williamsport, Md.

The Flint Hill United Methodist Church will have worship service on Sunday, July 12, at 9 a.m.

Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Butler and boys Daniel and Todd of Front Royal were guests Friday of Mrs. Wade Pullen.

Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Korbe of Falls Church spent Friday and Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Edward A. Marcey. Guests of the Marceys for the holiday were their children Ed and Jeanette Miller and daughter Amanda of Falls Church, George and Peggy Marcey, Tommy and Eddie of Amissville. The group enjoyed a fun weekend.

Mrs. Frank Spalding had as guests Thursday Mr. and Mrs. Edward Bowman of Sarasota, Fla., Mr. and Mrs. Roger Lloyd of Sterling, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Massie of Ashbum and Mrs. Robert Utter
