He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Hall Mastin of Richardsville, two daughters, Cinie Smith of Spokane, Wash., and Linda Wigens,
two sons, James Thomas Mastin of Richardsville and Ronald L. Mastin of Stafford, four sisters, Frances Martin, Ada Martin, Mildred Weedon and Emma Walker, all of Richardsville, and 10 grandchildren.
A graveside service was conducted July 5 at the Oakland Baptist Church Cemetery, Richardsville, by Rev. James Taylor.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Richardsville Fire Department and Rescue Squad Building Fund.
Lawrence Owens
Lawrence William Owens, 59, of Warrenton, died July 4 at Medical College of Virginia Hospital, Richmond.
Mr. Owens was employed as a horseman for 17 years by Dr. F. A. Howard and later worked for the Town of Warrenton for five years.
He is survived by his wife Mary Owens, three sisters, Lizzie McIntosh, Broad Run, Ella Kerns, Warrenton, and Mamie Echaret, Gainesville, and two brothers, Pete Owens, Richmond, and Robert Owens, Brandy Station.
A funeral service was conducted July 7 at Moser Funeral Home by Rev. Sam P. Jones. Burial was in the Warrenton cemetery.
