A TREASURE CHEST
Christianity is not a religion, it is a life, based on a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We can have fellowship with the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, because of the blood of Jesus that was shed to cleanse us from our sin, and made the way possible for us to come to God. We enter into this relationship'by faith, see Ephesians 2:8 & 9. Once we have been born-again, we are the children of God right now in this life. Romans 8:17 says that we are heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ. The word of God tells us what belongs to us as believers, it reveals to us the will of God for our lives, and also the promises that He has made to us. That literally covers every area of your life, mental, physical, financial, spiritual and social. As we believe God's word and act on it in simple child like faith, we receive what He has promised in His word. The bible is a treasure chest of blessings for the believer. Jesus said in Matthew 4:4, man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. I want to encourage every Christian who reads this article, to get into the word of God for yourself and discover the vast riches that belong to you, because you are a believer!
