of the group’s direction. Linda Orfila joined their Sunday rehearsals in March, and in September the three decided on sharing some of their works-in-progress with the community on Dec. 8.
“Since our work is improvisational and we are both creating and learning our own process as we go, all of our work is really ‘work-in-progress,’ ” said Ms. Harris. “It’s growing and developing all the time. The pieces we’re presenting on Dec. 8 are finished as of that day, but on the next rehearsal they may change. There are things we began last October that aren’t complete yet!”
The evening’s material will include traditional stories, original stories and poetry, a vocal performance and a piece that will be created as it is performed, using the group’s improvisational techniques.
