The Flint Hill United Methodist Church Women met Monday with Shelby Welch.

Barbara Gentry led the group in a study of the 42nd Psalm. Those present were Ardis East, Louise McCulloch, Linda Miller, Candy Lamma, Evelyn Walker, Alice Pullen, Mary Frances Bywaters, Russie Miller, Mary Brady, Gaynelle Russell, Mary Curtis and Flo Duvall.

Mr. and Mrs. Michael Vest, Curtis Vest and Johnny Vest and daughters Meredith and Leslie .Ann of Virginia Beach spent the Thanksgiving holiday with Christine Vest and Mrs. John S. Dodson at Sperryville.

Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Spence and Sarah of Harrisonburg and Mr. and' Mrs. Dennis Grove and children Jennifer and Eric of Front Royal spent Thanksgiving with their parents Mr. and Mrs. William Lee.

Mrs. Michael Dunn of Mineral spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Gentry.

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Miller of Odenton, Md., spent the Thanksgiving holiday with his mother Mrs. Paul Miller.

Robin Kilpatrick and Jim Curtis of Stoney Point, W.Va., spent Thanksgiving with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Walter J. Curtis. Eleanor Timmons of Leesburg spent Friday and Saturday with her daughter and son-in-law, the Curtises.

Mr. and Mrs. Bunny Hudson and Kathy had Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday with their son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Odie Herndon and boys at Manassas. Clarence Jones was a Sunday dinner guest of the Hudsons.

Joyce Walker of Arlington spent the Thanksgiving holiday with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Moe Walker.

Sgt. and Mrs. Mark Werner and son Joshua of Ft. Lee spent the Thanksgiving Holiday with the latter’s parents Mr. and Mrs. Grady Vest. Also joining them for the holiday was Mr. Werner’s brother Pvt. Matthew Werner, who is in the U.S. Army at Aberdum, Md. Mark and Matthew were reunited after four years. Others joining them for Thanksgiving dinner were Brenda Hensley and Tommy of Amissville, Mr. and Mrs. David Calisto and Nikki and Allen Vest.

Mr. and Mrs. Gary Smith and Karen of Tempe, Ariz., spent the Thanksgiving holiday with Mr. and Mrs. Carson Lillard. Happy birthday to Mr. Lillard, who had an 80th on Sunday. We also extend birthday wishes to Mrs. Lillard, who celebrated hers on Monday.

Plan now to attend the Christmas programs at the Sperryville United Methodist Church, Sunday, Dec. 10.
