Rappahannock’s Planning
Commission has accepted an offer by the Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection to help pay for a set of “environmental inventory” maps of the - county. However, the Planning Commission is asking RLEP$ help to buy only nine maps, about half of what was recommended by the Piedmont Environmental Council, which will prepare the maps. The Planning Commissioners feel the maps are necessary in order to begin work on the county’s first comprehensive plan.
