Your readers may be interested to learn that a meeting will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 4, at the General Assembly Building in Richmond on the possible creation of a Fair Campaign Practices Commission.
Many of us hope that such a Commission, composed of distinguished citizens from nonpartisan groups, could discourage the abusive, misleading and erroneous charges that have become ever more prevalent in state elections.
