IN REGARD TO AN ORDINANCE FOR
CROSS-CONNECTION CONTROL FOR THE
WASHINGTON WATER WORKS PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that, on Wednesday, December 13, 1989, at 8:00 p.m. in the Courtroom of the Circuit Court of Rappahannock County in Washington, Virginia, the Town Council of the Town of Washington, Virginia will hold a public hearing for the purpose of taking public comment before their consideration of the adoption of an Ordinance entitled “An Ordinance for Cross-Connection Control for the Washington Water Works”. The purpose of this Ordinance is to require the installation of devices to prevent the flow of contaminants, pollutants, etc., into any part of the Water Works. The application of this Ordinance could require the installation of devices by a water consumer. A copy of the proposed Ordinance is available for examination by the public at the Office of the Zoning Administrator for Rappahannock County and the Town of Washington, on Main Street in Washington, Virginia, and at the Clerk's Office of the Circuit Court of Rappahannock County, during normal office hours. All parties who are interested in said proposed Ordinance are invited to attend and to present their views.
