Prayer services for peace
As the war in the Persian Gulf continues, so will the weekly prayer services for peace. Held each Wednesday at noon at Trinity Episcopal Church and at 7:30 p.m. at Washington Baptist Church, the interdenominational services are led by the Rev. Jennings Hobson III and the Rev. Darrell Bare.-“This is something that we offer to the entire community,” the Rev. Hobson said. The services will continue as long as the Gulf war continues, he added.
