Culpeper County, on July 9, 1903. She was a homemaker. She worked with her husband in the operation of Clement Brothers general store. Following the retirement of her husband as the Jeffersonton Postmaster she served as the officer in charge of the post office in 1972.
She was a member of Amissville Baptist Church.
Her parents were the late Hugh L. Bywaters and Neva Wade Doyle.
Survivors include her husband, Roland P. Clement of Irvington; two sons, Ronald P. Clement Jr. of Crozier and William M. Clement of Warsaw; six grandchildren; four greatgrandsons; one sister, Annie L. Bywaters of Culpeper and one brother, Hugh D. By waters of Culpeper.
Graveside services were held Monday, Jan. 28 at Jeffersonton Baptist Church Cemetery with the
