The public hearing on the Bleu Rock Inn’s expansion plans was again continued until next monthly the Planning Commission Wednesday night at the request of the applicant.
County Administrator John McCarthy said he had heard from the applicants that afternoon and they asked for the continuance because one of the owners would not be able to attend and the other didn’t want to appear alone.
Lucy Ann Maeyer asked the planners if they would set a certain date when the hearing would be held. She noted that she had attended two months in a row, and asked if the planners could insist that the hearing take place next month.
Mr. McCarthy said the Board of Supervisors had to decide on the application within 120 days unless there was a written agreement between the supervisors and the applicant to extend the deadline.
