Christine Klatko of Alexandria arrived on Thursday to spend the holiday weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Tom Klatko and Sara. Rosemary Thacker, also of Alexandria arrived on Saturday. In addition to Mrs. Klatko and Mrs. Thacker their additional Easter Sunday dinner guests were Nancy and Scott McBride.
Elmer Atkins was recently honored with a surprise birthday dinner at the Washington Fire Hall, given by his wife Marty and family.
Approximately 70 friends and relatives helped him to celebrate the joyous occasion.
The birthday cake was made and served by Evelyn Dellinger of Scrabble and was beautifully decorated in miniature antiques.
