Jean Morgan
new director
of Hospice
The Hospice of the Rapidan’s Board of Directors has announced the appointment of Jean Falk Morgan as its new executive director.
Mrs. Morgan comes to the Hospice with over 14 years’ experience in the medical field. Her experience includes five years as the director of a medical center, medical technologist and medical assistant for both hospitals and private doctors.
She also developed and facilitated relaxation-movement classes for senior citizens in nursing homes, as well as for the staff at Children’s Defense Fund and doctor-referred clients.
In 1987 she co-founded and directed a medical support group for people with AIDS in Washington, D.C.
Mrs. Morgan is an accomplished costume designer and has a great interest in dance. She has taught Rappahannock children creative movement and improvisation.
She contributes to her community by her volunteer work as a Cub Scout den leader, Sunday school teacher, cultural arts representative at Rappahannock Elementary and in various community fund-raising projects.
