Opening ceremonies at Stuart Field in Amissville on Saturday mark the official start of the spring baseball season for the Rappahannock Athletic Association (RAA).
Speakers for the noon Saturday observances include Pastor Tom Everett of the Amissville Baptist Church, Babe Ruth Commissioner Jim Everett, Piedmont District Supervisor Pete Estes, Rappahannock High varsity baseball Coach Mike Tupper, and Kathy Mulcahey, performing the national anthem.
