Alice Pullen was honored with a surprise birthday party on Tuesday, April 14 at the Home Extension Office at Washington given during the Home Extension Quilting Class. Mrs. Pullen was celebrating her 80th birthday.
Evelyn Dellinger, caterer and member baked the birthday cake, a basket cake with 80 yellow roses.
All the members gave Mrs. Pullen a colorful piece of fabric. There were approximately 25 members present.
Mrs. Pullen celebrated her 80th birthday on Tuesday evening, April 14 with her family for dinner at The Western Sizzlin’ in Stephens City.
Those present were Mary Frances and Doug Bywaters, Greg and Cindy Sanders and Nathan, David and Terry Bywaters and Jennifer, Dougie and Athena Bywaters, Angela, Matthew and Joshua, Charlie and Alice Virginia Butler, Daniel and Todd.
