In other police news this week:
• Bonnie Sue Baldwin, 38, of Sperryville, pleaded guilty to one count of false pretenses (fraud) following a plea agreement, in Rappahannock Circuit Court April 16.
Originally charged with forgery, fraud, and two counts of uttering, all but the forgery count are to be dismissed, and the forgery count has been changed to fraud.
There was no agreement as to her sentence in the plea agreement, and a pre-sentence investigation was ordered. The remaining three felonies will be dismissed upon sentencing, according to records.
• The hearing scheduled for April 24 in Rappahannock Circuit Court concerning the Wakefield litigation has been postponed. No new date has been set.
