' Kids go fishing
Trout Unlimited’s 13th annual free trout fishing party for children will be held on opening day (this Saturday at noon) on the Rose River in Madison * County along Route 670 between Criglersville and Syria. Only children age 12 and under may fish there that day. No license is needed.
County decals on sale
Decals are now on sale at the county Treasurer’s office and must be displayed by May 1, 1993. Delinquent property taxes must be paid before purchasing the decals.
Tax help offered
The Commissioner of Revenue’s Office will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. from March 18 to May 1 to help answer income tax questions of county residents. Special tax relief for the elderly has been approved for this year. To apply for the program please contact the Commissioner of Revenue at 675-3513.
