Allan Coombs

Allan Coombs, Sr. of Flint Hil died on March 8.

Mr. Coombs previously residec in Huntington, Long Island, New York and moved his family to Flinl Hill 14 years ago. He had been at antique dealer for over 30 years. | He leaves his wife, Shirley; fivt children, Allan Coombs, Jr. of Crof ton, Md., Candance Kahn of Chevj Chase, Md. Penney Ross of Centre ville, Robyn Ross of Kent, Conn and Douglas Coombs of Linden.

Also surving are four grandchildren Deidre and Carrie Coombs Penny Lynn and Bobby Stuart.

* Mr. Gene Carlyle Settle. 49, ol Culpeper, died on March 10, at his sister residence.

He was born on August 15, 1945 in Winchester to the late Brueington and Susie M. Settle. He had a great love for dogs.

He is survived by two daughters, Melissa Lvn Settle of Amissville and Lottie Pearl Settle of Acworth. Ga.; a son. Gene C. Settle Jr. of Acworth, Ga.; two sisters, Mrs. Lucy Mae Burke and Gladys Roberta Smoot, both of Culpeper; a brother, William (Billy) Settle of Rixeyville.

He was preceded in death by four brothers. Clarence A. Settle, Cleveland H. Settle (Buddy), John B. Settle, and James M. Settle.

Funeral services were held on March 13, at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Charles Shifflett officiating.

Interment was in Fairview Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Steve Buraker; Larry Smoot, Danny Smith. Andrew Settle, Ronnie Welling, Carrol Coffey.
