Community "Spring Clean"

Beneath all the drifts of snow are beautiful spring flowers, scurrying little critters, and plenty of roadside trash! While whittling away the hours, planning spring gardens and recovering from shovelling or sledding, don’t forget to mark April 17 on you calendar-for the semiannual community trash pick up day.

Start soon to think about how you would best be able to help local citizens work together to get the county ready for the Fodderstack 10K, April 24, Earth Day April 22, and springtime fairs. Contact Hunt Harris at 675-1436 or 636-3066 for additional information or input.

Anchors away!

The pirate ship at the county park is ready to set sail! Funds are still needed to insure the success of the project and we are looking to the community for more donations. Please reach out and join in this worthw hile effort. If you have children, grandchildren, neices or nephews, you will enjoy watching them play on the current castle and the new pirate ship in the park.
