Silversmith to demonstrate Gerald Schenandoah, a well-known silversmith will be at The Trading Post from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, March 20 and 21. He will be bringing silver and bone jewelry that he designed and made. He also does repairs and special orders. Gerald and his wife, Cheryl will have a selection of hats, purses and clothing made from furs and buckskin. The Trading Post is located on U.S. 211 west of Washington. Lords of the sky Spring Mountain School in Washington is sponsoring an educational program on birds of prey at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 25. Live guests will be bald eagle, owls and falcons. All ages are welcome. Admission wil be $2 for adults and $1 for students.
Breakfast and bingo The Castleton Volunteer Fire Department will sponsor a breakfast and bingo on Saturday, April 4. The all-you-can-eat breakfast will be held from 8 a.m. until noon.
