$38,600. Other increases are due to having to hire additional people. Many of those additions, such as an additional kindergarten teacher, signing specialist, , and bus driver for a lift-equipped bus, were made this ye^r but not included in the budget.
About $24,7]p0 of the increase will be used to increase duties and time for other employees so that Assistant Superintendent Robert Chappell can act as “clerk of the works” for the elementary school building addition. Another $82,400 is for architect’s fees to design the addition, and $41,200 was included to pay the first six months’ interest on bonds for the addition.
