The Castleton Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company wishes to thank each and every person who helped and participated in our Womanless Beauty Contest.

With the help and support from everyone we were able to raise over $1,000. We hope to make this an annual event each year.

A very special thanks, goes out to each and everyone who came out on that snowey night to support us.

I recently heard that you are going to do a story regarding the awards given by the Rappahannock Fire and Rescue Association this year.

I am a coworker of Ann Spieker at the Washington Vol. Fire Department. Working with Ann on E.M.S. calls is always a rewarding experience.

Her knowledge and skill level as a Cardiac Technician is superior. She is able to take charge of the scene effectively, and treats her coworkers and patients with respect and empathy. She is a very caring person doing a wonderful job for her community. She is professional in every aspect of her job. I am glad to
