It was floods last week that closed schools; this past weedend it was the “Blizzard of ’93” or “Winter Hurricane.” We got close to two feet here. Over 100 people from Florida To Canada lost their lives. We saw record-breaking low temperatures with wind chills below 0 degress. Meteorologists were calling it the worse storm in over 100 years.
On Sunday, April 4 the Amissville United Methodist Church will return to its regular time of 11 a.m. for church service and 9:45 a.m. for Sunday School.
