Auction at AVFD
The Amissville Volunteer Fire Department will be holding an auction at 6 p.m. on March 27. To donate items or to have them picked up call 937-5125 or Paul Poling at 937-5205.
Lion's Club benefit auction
The Rappahannock Lions Club will hold its annual benefit auction at 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 8 at the Washington Volunteer Fire Department hall. Details will follow.
RAA registration
Last opportunity to register for baseball and softball will be held at Stuarts Field for T-ball, minors, majors and 13-15 Babe Ruth and softball. There will also be registration at Pullen’s Field for T-ball, minors and majors. Registration at both fields will be from 9 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday, March 20.
Tryout and drafts will be held March 20 at Stuarts Field and Pullen’s Field starting at 12:30. Tryouts for 13-15 Babe Ruth division will be held only at Stuart’s Field at 12:30. Baseball clinic for players and coaches will be instructed by Mike Tupper March 21 at Stuart’s Field from 1-4 p.m.

Advisory committee to meet
The Gifted and Talented Advisory Committee for the Rappahannock County Public Schools will meet in the Rappahannock Elementary School Library at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 23. The meeting is open to the public.
