For more than 100 youngsters the past two weeks have meant fun at the high school’s basketball camp. This is the first year that the “All Net” basketball camp has been divided into two one-week sessions, and camp director Gary Leake thinks it has worked very well.
Youngsters who will be in the elementary school next year attended •camp last week, “They had a lot more fun,” Coach Leake said. “They had a chance to be stars. At any time during camp you could take a smile check.”
Campers were divided by age level. Fifteen 11 and 12-year olds were on three “NBA” teams. Another fifteen 10 and 11-year olds were on three teams in the Varsity League. Ten more campers were on two JV league teams, and three 5 through 7-year olds were a junior
