In the Upper School, Welby Lynn garnered a total of five awards: Latin, Pamela Lynn Scholarship Award, Dr. W.E. Lynn Sr. Award for Academic Excellence, Laura Virginia Hale History Award and the Molly Fraser French Award.
In the Grammar School, Andrew Inglis received the following awards: Grammarian, Mathematics, History, Latin, and the Pamela Lynn Leadership Award; Jamie Favareau received an award in French.
In the Primary School, John Baumgardner received an award in Art, and Nate Martin received an award in Handwriting.
Patrick F. O’Meara, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard O’Meara, Sperryville, received a diploma with honors from Woodberry Forest School, Woodberry Forest, Va. Mr. O’Meara plans to attend Lafayette College.
Christina A. Ward, granddaughter of Mrs. Marta Tholand, Washington, graduated from Millbrook School, Millbrook, N.Y. She received the Art Department Award in Visual Arts and plans to attend the Rhode Island School of Design.
Robert DeBergh, son of Mr. and Mrs. James DeBergh Jr., Washington, was named to the president’s list and received a science certificate at Randolph-Macon Preparatory School, Front Royal. He expects to enter Randolph-Macon Academy in the fall.
