Book Sale
The Friends of the Rappahannock Library are sponsoring the Annual Book Sale from 10 until 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 4 in the basement and on the portico of the Rappahannock County Library.
The library will be selling used books donated from the community which range from bestselling titles to old books and first editions. Titles include both fiction and non-fiction in many categories. Some special features include cookbooks, gardening manuals, art books, children’s interest, albums and magazines. A wide variety of “how-to” titles are also available. Most books are almost new, but there are also older, more collectible editions available. Hardbacks are priced at $1.50 and paperbacks are 25 cents each, unless otherwise marked.
The library sale begins before other events on the Fourth. Parking at the library is available and shuttle service from the town of Washington is provided if patrons wish to park in town for events later in the day.
