Rappahannock County Citizen Position
Following the expiration of the term of Col. E.P. Luke, USAF (reL), the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors is soliciting applications for the position of citizen representative to the Rappahannock-Rapidan Planning District Commission (PD#9).
The position is a volunteer one, involving at least one meeting per month and requires an interest in issues affecting land use planning, growth and development in the region comprising Rappahannock, Culpeper, Madison, Fauquier & Orange Counties. Meetings are currently held on the fourth Thursday of each month at 4:00 p.m., at the PD#9 offices in Culpeper.
Rappahannock County residents interested in the four-year term are invited to notify their representative on the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors or to call the County Administrator, John W. McCarthy, at (703) 675-3342 for further information.
The Board of Supervisors intends to make the appointment at their meeting on July 8,1993, at 7:00 p.m.
