By postponing the reassessment
required by state law by 1985, Rappahannock County Supervisors squeezed out a forty-two cent tax rate for the coming year at a special meeting on Monday.
The most famous county entertainment held in Rappahannock is the Fourth of July celebration in Washington. Once again, the Patowmack Ancients will lead the grand march at Avon Hall to start off the patriotic program.
