Woodrow Deal

Mr. Woodrow L. Deal, 71, of Peola Mills died on June 25 while a patient at Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville.

Mr. Deal spent most of his life as an orchardist and later worked for the Virginia Department of Transportation for 15 years, retiring in 1981.

He is survived by his wife Mary; a daughter, Mrs. Ann Coates of Banco; and three sons, John Deal of Hume, Bob Deal and Gary Deal of Culpeper.

Grandchildren include Robin Coates, Rodney Coates, David Deal, Jamie Deal and Johnathan Deal.

Mr. Deal is also survived by one sister Mrs. Dolly Sisk of Culpeper; and three brothers, Andrew Deal and Harry Deal of Culpeper and Lester Deal of Sperryville.

A funeral service was held on Sunday, June 27 at the Found & Sons Funeral Home in Culpeper with the Rev. Patricia Murphy officiating.

Interment was in the Etlan Cemetery.
