Board of Supervisors will know we are spending as frugally as we can,” Chairman Beverly Massie said. “We don’t go out and spend at the end of the year for items unless they are necessary.”
She noted that the School Board hopes it has included all expected expenses for the addition to the elementary school, “but you never can tell exactly what your costs are going to be,” she said. “We try to build trust with the Board of Supervisors.”
Bo*rd members also met in executive session with Bob Moje of VMDO Architects in Charlottesville and drafted a contract with the firm for designing the elementary school addition. They will submit the contract to the board’s attorney for review.
