for the coming school year. Most textbook fees will remain the same: $29 for kindergarten, $39 for grades 1-3, $49 for grades 4-7, and $8.20 per book for high school books. Breakfast and lunch prices will also be the same: $1.00 at the elementary school and $1.25 at the high school for lunch. Elementary school breakfast will cost $.65. Prices for those who qualify for reduced price meals will also remain the same: $.40 for lunch and $.30 for breakfast. The optional kindergarten snack costs $.35.
However, the cost for the optional school insurance has increased for the coming year, and prices for certain high school books which students buy rather than rent have increased.
The fee for behind-the wheel drivers’ education increased from $35 to $60, and parking permits for high school students will incVease from $18 to $20 for the coming year.
Dr. Gangel reported that class schedules for high school students were mailed out this week. He said he expects this to simplify fee day at the high school, since those students who need to change their schedules
