This Saturday, Aug. 14, is the Amissville Ruritan Club’s Family Fun Day to be held at Stuart Field on U.S. 211, between Hackley’s Store and Methodist Church, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. free admission! Rain date is Aug. 21.

Health Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (includes cholesterol, blood pressure, and diabetes screening; $5 fee for cholesterol processing by Culpeper Hospital)

BBQ chicken and the Ruritan’s famous barbecue beef dinner served beginning at 11 a.m. and rest of day. Cost is $8 for adults and $4.50 for children under six.
