Wolf's Aid To Visit Mrs. Donna Crowley, a representative of Congressman Frank Wolf, will visit the town of Washington from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 12 at the Rappahannock Extension Office.

Hunter's Safety Course A hunter’s safety course will be held at Castleton fire hall from 1 to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 21 and 22. Everyone between the ages of 12 and 15 and first time license purchasers are required to take this course. For more information call 937-5192.
Tournaments Scheduled A horseshoe and softball tournament is scheduled for Sept. 4-6 which is Labor Day weekend. Teams wishing to enter should call 6369582.
Schooling Series Continues The Grove Schooling Show series will continue for four Wednesdays beginning Aug. 18. Shows start promptly at 5 p.m. at the Grove in Warrenton and offer 2’, 2’6” and 3’ jumping classes as well as walktrout and walk-trout-canter opportunities. Entries are $5 per class. Services Board To Meet The Management Committee of the Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board will hold a meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 16 in the Lord Culpeper Building.
CarWash, Bake Sale The Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Department will hold a car wash and bake sale from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 21. The car wash will be $6 per car. Anyone wanting to donate baked goods please contact Connie Huff-Hams at 675-3389.
