Slate Mills Baptist Church on Rt. 707 held its homecoming on Sunday and their revival services are continuing each evening at 7:30 through Friday with Rev. Mike Normoyle of Culpeper as guest speaker.
Mr. and Mrs. Shelvy Frazier spent last week in Richlands attending a camp meeting.
New Salem Baptist Church will have their Vacation Bible School next week Aug. 16-20 each evening from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Hazel Zinn Day will be the director of this year’s school.
