Wolf's Rep To Visit

Mrs. Donna Crowley, a representative of Congressman Frank Wolf, will visit the town of Washington on Thursday, Dec. 9.

Mrs. Crowley will be available to talk with constituents who need assistance or have problems of a Federal nature, such as with the Social Security Administration, Department of Labor, Immigration and Naturalization Service, Internal Revenue Service, Department of Veterans Affairs, etc.

Mrs. Crowley will be at the Rappahannock Extension Office from 1:30-2:30 p.m.

Christmas Baskets

Office manager Marie Davis at the Department of Social Services reminds citizens not to forget the needy this Christmas. The office is again planning Christmas baskets for Rappahannock families needing help this season.

The department will accept donations of non-perishable foods and checks to purchase groceries and gifts at the office or by mail to Box 87, Washington, VA 22747 through Monday, Dec. 20.

Groups interested in adopting a family can do so. They will not know the family’s name, but they will get information on family composition. For more information call 675-3313.
