Randall Linden Ramey, 22, of Rixeyville pleaded guilty to two felonies and one misdemeanor in Circuit Court on Dec. 2. The felonies he is charged with are distribution of a controlled substance to a minor under the age of 18 and possession of PCP, a Schedule II drug. The misdemeanor charge is for carrying a concealed weapon, a 9mm handgun.

Mr. Ramey is free on bond until March 14, at which time he will be in Circuit Court for sentencing.

Manuel A. Johnson, 33, of Culpeper, was in Circuit Court on Dec. 2 for a suppression hearing.

According to testimony by State Trooper Sean Knick and Deputy Connie Compton, Mr. Johnson and some friends were sitting in his truck near the intersection of Rts. 211 and 642 in Amissville earlier this year. The truck was parked in the right lane of the road. Mr. Johnson would not get out of the truck when asked to, so Mr. Knick and Ms. Compton assisted him out of the truck, they said.
