George Washington Carver - Piedmont Technical Education Center held its first ceremony for the 1993-94 school year on Tuesday, Nov. 30. The ceremony recognized students who performed in an outstanding manner during the first quarter. Special awards, perfect attendance awards, most improved student and top student awards were presented during this assembly. The session featured the installation of VICA (Vocational Industral Clubs of America) officers and a guest speaker, Mrs. Linda Warbv, Director of the Culpeper Safe House, who spoke to the students about domestic violence. Mrs. Warby also thanked the students for their Thanksgiving food drive.
