game warden who informed me that there is no ordinance in this county about how far from a house a hunter is allowed to discharge a firearm. This is not a letter discussing the moral of hunting, but I find it very distrubing that as long as a hunter has permission to hunt on a property he is able to fire his gun regardless at human safety or property. I have no problem with the majority of safe hunters but maybe the weight of the law is required to reign in the idiotic actions of the few.

The families, staff, and Board want to thank our wonderful community for helping us raise $4,314.49 at our fifth annual Christmas Bazaar. A very special thanks goes to the Inn for the donation of a dinner for two for our raffle and the donation of all of the proceeds from the Colonial Christmas’ Bake Sale. We also want to applaud Susan McCarthy’s generosity in donating the beautiful antique quilt for our raffle.
