The Washington acoustic.music trio Trapezoid has released their eighth album, a collection celebrating their 20th anniversary on the recording and touring circuit.
The album, entitled “Long Time Down This Road...” contains favorite tracks from five earlier Trapezoid releases, plus four previously-unreleased songs. The music includes early eight-handed hammered dulcimer originals, “chamber folk" songs from the , !980’s Trapezoid, and the full vocals and lush production of the more recent ‘Zoid records. The record is released on the band’s own Azure Records label.
