Graveside services were held on Saturday, March 18 at Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. John S. Farrar officiating.

A. Erwin Hackley
A. Erwin Hackley, 83, of Luray died March 18 at Page Memorial Hospital in Luray.
Mr. Hackley was bom Sept. 29, 1911, in Virginia, a son of the late Lewis Erwin Hackley and Rosalie A. Dowdell.
He was a self employed attorney and was Commonwealth Attorney for Page County for 16 years. In 1935 he received his law degree from the University of Virginia.
Mr. Hackley was a member of the Lions Club for 59 years and received the Melvin Jones Fellow Award in 1994.
He was also a member of the Shriner's Club and Masons for over 50 years.
Survivors include his wife! Margaret Virginia Hackley of Luray; two sons, Frederick Erwin Hackley of Baton Rouge, LA and Thomas Alsop Hackley of Lurav; two daughters, Ma'rgaret H. Carman of Princeton, IL and Joyce A. Giusto of Annandale; two brothers, Graham Hackley of Amissville and Leon B. Hackley of Manassas and seven grandchildren.
Graveside services were held on Monday, March 20 in Beahm’s Chape! Cemetery with the Rev. William A. Jester, Sr. officiating.
