For the second time in three years James S. Clark IV has won best of show at the Piedmont Regional Science Fair.
As a result, Jim, now a junior at Rappahannock County High School, will attend his second International Science Fair, to be held this year in Hamilton, Ontario, May 7-13.
Jim and best of show co-winner, Robert Rowley of Spotsylvania High School, were among more than 250 students who attended the regional science fair at Piedmont Virginia Community College on March 15.
Sponsors included Virginia Power, GE Fanuc, the U.S. Army National Ground Intelligence Center and PVCC.
Jim’s project was “The Traveling Salesman Problem-Phase III,” which also won first place in the computer
