A good selection of fresh vegetables is in the cooler: celery, lemons, green peppers, cucumbers, carrots, and lettuce. Potatoes and onions are in bags near the front counter!
Like many other country stores, Settle’s has videos (120 selections) for rent and some for sale. They have scratch lottery tickets too. Mrs. Settle loves the sign which is visible from the checkout counter. It says “Cows may come and cows may go, but the bull around here goes on forever.”
The store is open from 4:30 or 4:45 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 5:30 a.m. to 9 p.m, on Saturdays and Sunday. Bubby’s garage is open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 7 a.m. to noon on Saturdays.
