Business Council To Meet
The Sperryville Business Council will meet at 4 p.m. on Friday, March 31 at Country Manor. All current members, new business owners and/or interested persons are urged to attend. Advisory Committee To Meet
The Special Education Advisory Committee originally scheduled for March 9 has been rescheduled for 3:30 p.m., Thursday, April 6 in Room 23 at the high school (Mrs. Logan’s room). Jim Hall of the Department of Rehabilitative Services will present the program. Refreshments will be served. The meeting is open to the public.
Spring Mtn. School Auction
Some highlights for the live bidding from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at the Spring Mountain School Auction this Saturday, April 1 are: vacations in the Florida Keys and Great Smokies Mountains, tennis lessons with Hunt Harris, beautiful furniture include 6 beds ranging from queen to a wooden crib, original art by such acclaimed artists as JetTMacNelly and Robin Purnell, organic beef and produce, a pony cart ride through the Rappahannock countryside. Silent Auction 1-4:30 (originally scheduled until 5 p.m.) with pottery, household goods, toys, books, etc., premiere performance by Fienda of Gaia 5 p.m. will be held on the school awn, Mt. Salem Ave., Washington. Indoors if inclement weather. Everyone is invited to this day of fun and fundraising.
