Lambert Orkis is Principal Keyboard of the National Symphony Orchestra, teaches at Temple University, and has appeared on major concert stages throughout the world as recital partner to ‘cellist Mstislav Rostropovich and violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter.
Kenneth Slowik directs the Chamber Music Program at the Smithsonian, teaches at the University of Maryland and at the Oberlin College Conservatory, where he leads the Baroque Performance Institute, and enjoys an international reputation for his chamber music recordings and his work as a conductor.
Their 13-year collaboration as members of the castle Trio has led them to explore a series of historically aopropriate instruments and performing styles for a repertoiTe spanning two centuries.
